Test Scores

Iowa Tests of Basic Skills

Ebenezer Christian School uses the Iowa Tests of Basic Skills each year for its 3rd-8th grades to help guage each student’s individual progress. It is an outside, objective measurement of how well our students are performing when compared to similar students from across the nation.

Ebenezer Christian consistently scores very high in the national rankings. When comparing our students’ skills with students of the same age throughout the population of both private and public students, our scores show that our classrooms are solid learning environments.

The most recent scores rank Ebenezer in the top 20% of the nation’s schools, with some classrooms ranked in the top 10%, and one classroom in the top 5%, affirming that our teachers are well qualified and gifted in bringing out the best in each of their students. These test scores also give us reassurance that these children are truly being prepared with the thinking skills necessary to live out their calling in God’s kingdom.
